Bailey at the OHSU Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

For a more complete collection of Bailey pictures, click on the "Web Album" link to the left.

As most of you know, shortly after Bailey was born, she got to take her first helicopter ride all the way to OHSU in Portland. Bailey was airlifted because she was having a hard time breathing on her own (it was a difficult labor due to my 103 degree fever and an infection), and they also wanted to keep a close eye on her with the possibility of getting an infection of her own. Bailey was monitored for 48 hours and then we were free to go home!

Bailey is doing quite well. She is completely off antibiotics and eating, sleeping, and poo-ing just like any other 4 day old babe. Of course, I think she is just beaufiful, but WOULDN'T YOU AGREE? I especially love the 2nd and 3rd picture of her...her eyes are wide open and she is just so dang cute!

With my maternity leave and limited computer availability, I won't be able to update as much as I would like, but I promise to do so whenever I can.
