It's Thursday afternoon, and we survived the storm. News said that it was the worst storm the north coast of Oregon has EVER seen. Bailey anf Mommy are staying with friends in Gearhart, where we have gas water, stove and fireplace. Cell phone service just went back up yesterday, but we are still without electricity. Bailey is doing just fine; she doesn't know the difference. She's been snacking on sweet potatoes, pears, and milk, sleeping alright, and getting in good time with RaRa Donna and "Grandpa" Dean. We are surrounded by a wonderful surrogate family here on coast.
The conference center is running minimally...we have a big generator that provides electricity to our dining room and main chapel (where Ecola Bible School meets). We are working on a modified schedule, helping out wherever we can. It may be a few more days before we get the power back, but until then, we are doing just fine. Thanks everyone for caring and praying!
