Being at home with my kid has been so much fun. Instead of managing a database or uploading pictures of students for parents to see at work, I am at home, or in this case, at a friend's house, watching my kiddo play around with a little buddy, and taking pictures of her for you all to see. So here's Bailey, playing with Sawyer's really cool tunnel. I tried to get a sweet picture of both of them with their heads popping out the end of the tunnel, but have you ever tried wrangling a few toddlers into a picture perfect moment? Nearly impossible! We finally got one shot of the two of them, but neither were looking at the camera. Oh well.
I love being at home with Bailey, baking sourdough english muffins in our matching aprons together, taking a nice, long carrot to the barn to feed the horses (and get in a short walk for me, of course). These are just a few of my favorite things. I also LURVE naptime...in fact, I am confident that I have taken a nap at least every other day when Bailey was napping. And the best part of it all: I usually get to nap with my wonderful husband too! So, as the rest of the world is working (and I was one of them, who, in fact, technically still needs to be looking for a job), my little family is snoozing from 1:30-3:30 each afternoon. Pure bliss...unless the cell phone rings incessantly, which for some reason, it has been lately. I just need to learn to shut off the ringer, i suppose.
